About the Teacher

Kate Gresock

Hi, my name is Kate Gresock, and I am thrilled to be working at Dr. Justina Ford Elementary as

a learning specialist in our resource program. What an honor to be a part of such an outstanding

school, community, and district.

I grew up in the lovely state of Michigan, and received a dual Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary

Education and Special Education from Michigan State University. I moved to Colorado directly

after college to begin working as a learning specialist in Adams 14. My husband Phil and I

moved to Chicago for a few years, where I taught as a math interventionist and learning

specialist in the Forest Park School District. We realized pretty quickly, however, that we

couldn’t stay away from all that Colorado sunshine for too long, and moved back in 2015, where

I worked as a learning specialist in Douglas County School District. This will be my first year in

LPS, and I couldn’t be more excited. When I’m not at school, I love to run, read, travel, swim,

camp, and hike. Basically, if it’s outside, I’m here for it!

Teaching is my passion, and I’m so excited for all the wonderful opportunities this year will bring!
