Meet Mrs. Spafford

About Me

I grew up in Littleton and earned my bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders /Audiology/Speech Language Pathology with a minor in Special Ed in 1991. I have a passion for teaching young learners and in the summer of 2017 I earned my Masters of Science degree in Education with a Specialization in Reading and Literacy K-6. I have been a part of this school from the day I went to the Littleton Public School Board Meeting and presented my reasons for wanting this brand new charter school 25 years ago. My husband and I have been married for 31 years and our three boys all started in Kindergarten here at LPCS. They are all grown up, one married, one engaged and our oldest is 30 years old! I love the mountains, gardening, reading, hiking, swimming and walking my fluffy white Golden Retriever Bella. It is ever so clear that time passes very quickly and I have a perspective which allows me to cherish life, these young students, and even the crazy and fabulous times families go through with small children. It is a privilege and honor to work together with you to start your child's school experience out in a very positive, academically strong, and overall successful way!
