My name is Stashya Coppola and I will be a 5th grade mentor and teach 5th and 6th grade Social Studies this year. I have a bachelor's degree in Piano Performance and Elementary Education from the University of Colorado and a master's degree in Gifted and Talented Education from the University of Northern Colorado. I have been teaching for 15 years and this is the 12th year I have been part of the LPCS community.
What I enjoy most about teaching is learning side by side with my students and seeing them grow each and every day.
Outside of school I enjoy exercising, reading, concerts, movies, playing with my dogs Poppy and Ruby, watching Denver Broncos football, and spending time with family and friends.
Please do not hesitate in contacting me if any questions or concerns arise. I believe communication between home and school is critical to student success. I can best be reached by email at scoppola@lps.k12.co.us. I check emails daily before and after school and return them within 24 hours. I can also be reached by phone at (303) 734-1995 ext. 227. I check phone messages less frequently but aim to return phone calls within 48 hours.

Well-nourished and hydrated bodies and brains help contribute to student success. Please send a healthy, nut-free snack and a water bottle daily with your child. I do not permit Cheetos or Takis of any kind as the different colored powders are difficult to clean off fingers, desks, computers, and papers.
