I was born and raised in Phx, Az. Moved to Colorado in 1992.

I have a B.S. in Geology from Arizona State University. I have a Post-Baccalaureate Teacher Certification also from ASU. I earned an M.Ed from Northern Arizona University in secondary Leadership and Administration.

I began my teaching career at the Jr. High level teaching Mathematics and Earth Science. I moved to Early Childhood when I became a mom...and I've never looked back! Have been an ECE for 27 years.

Outside of Education, I am a mom of 2 grown exceptional human beings: Brockton and Torri. Brockton married Jordan in 2019. He is a School of Mines graduate and works in Finance and Accounting. Torri has two Bachelor's Degrees, one from CU Boulder and one from Calgary, Alberta. She is a travel nurse, brave and fearless, and one of my best friends.

I love gardening, hiking, walking my dog Kaiya, playing pickleball and tennis, yoga, eating and traveling with my sweet husband, Bob.
