Sasha Anthamatten

My name is Sasha Anthamatten. I am going to be the English Language Development (ELD) teacher at Ford this year; this will be my first year in this role. I am originally from Des Moines, IA. I moved to Colorado in 2011 after having lived in Missouri and South Korea and love it here! My husband and I have two daughters, Stella (14) and Sofie (12). I have worked in LPS since 2012, first as a special education para at Peabody Elementary, and most recently teaching fourth grade at Twain Elementary. I have degrees in English and Russian, and recently received my master's degree in Teaching English as a Second Language and Bilingual Education. I love to learn new things, travel, cook, and work in my garden. I look forward to being part of the Ford community!
