Gudy Gaskill Elementary has successfully finished its 2nd year of school.  I believe that it has been full of learning, friendship and growing for all who call themselves "Trailblazers".  I have loved being a Centerbased Special Education Teacher for more than 20 years.  My word for this past year has been "Believe".  I believe that all children have gifts and can learn and grow and impact their world powerfully.  

Outside of school, a great joy my husband and I have is a large family with lots of grandchildren.  They live all over the world, so travel is always in our plans.  Another joy I have is working with refugees in the Denver area.  I learn so much from them as I help them learn to thrive in the United States.  There is never a dull moment in my days and nights, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
