We are looking forward to a more "normal" school year!! As such, we have a few opportunities for everyone to get involved in right off the bat.

Our first PTO meeting will be an informal welcome coffee on Tuesday, August 17 starting at 8:45am.

PTO supports students, staff and families at LHS throughout the year. We provide assistance via food/drink donations, volunteering time, fundraising for our community needs and offering connections between our LHS families.

The “LHS Community Support Fund” donations are used to purchase grocery gift cards to give to families in need . PTO works with Liz Lindly, LHS Social Worker, to identify families that need assistance. If you need assistance and/or you know of a family in need, please contact Liz at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Teacher Appreciation Week Goodies
Welcome to PTO
All parents/guardians with enrolled children at LHS are automatically members of this very active organization.
The PTO is an engaged group of volunteers that works alongside other parent/guardian groups within the school (ENCORE (Performing Arts) and Sports Booster Club) to create a strong community among the faculty and families.
The fundraising events held throughout the school year aim to enhance the LHS experience for every student. Fundraisers held by the PTO have raised money for technology throughout the school (fulfilling teacher wish lists), furniture for the courtyard and theater entrance, and help to support the LHS social worker with the various needs of our school’s population. Money raised by the PTO also supports AfterProm, a fun event open to all junior and senior students. All parents/guardians are encouraged to volunteer in whatever way works best. Our monthly meetings are attended by Principal Amy Oaks and other LHS administrators in order to increase communication between faculty and families. The meeting schedule for the 2020-2021 school year is being discussed. The meeting schedule will be published HERE when available. We encourage all parents/guardians to attend PTO meetings. Please feel free to contact any parent volunteer for any additional information. We hope to see you soon!
