Welcome to PTO
The PTO is an engaged group of volunteers that works alongside other parent/guardian groups within the school (ENCORE (Performing Arts) and Sports Booster Club) to create a strong community among the students, faculty and families.
The fundraising events held throughout the school year aim to enhance the LHS experience for every student. Fundraisers held by the PTO have raised money for technology throughout the school (fulfilling teacher wish lists), furniture for the courtyard and theater entrance, and help to support the LHS social worker with the various needs of our school’s population. Money raised by the PTO also supports AfterProm, a fun event open to all junior and senior students. All parents/guardians are encouraged to volunteer in whatever way works best. Please check out our Calendar of Events and see what interests you.
Our monthly meetings are attended by Principal Cathy Benton and other LHS administrators in order to increase communication between faculty and families. We encourage all parents/guardians to attend PTO meetings. Please feel free to contact any parent volunteer for any additional information. We hope to see you soon!
