PTO supports students, staff and families at LHS throughout the year. We provide assistance via food/drink donations, volunteering time, fundraising for our community needs and offering connections between our LHS families.
Here are a few things we did for the LHS community last year:

- Treated our 2020-2021 Freshmen class and Student Recognition students throughout the year with yummy cookies

- Gave $1,000 to LHS towards their purchase of a Gaga Pit Ball Game for all students

- Provided our Seniors with LOTS of treats throughout this tough year

- Arranged a Corn Maze adventure for all students; Organized the Haunted House entry and donated pumpkins for the StuCo carving contest

- Treated our Teachers/Staff with goodies twice--gift cards in fall and 5 days of awesome treats last week

- Supported all the Spring Fling "perks" since LHS couldn't fundraise throughout this COVID year: obstacle course, battle cones, hot dogs, chips, cookies, drinks, cotton candy & Andy's custard

Best of all, our LHS Community Support Fund provided $4,800
in King Soopers gift cards to families in need!

THANK YOU to ANDY'S CUSTARD in River Point for donating custard cups for all!!

For all the ways you can give back/donate to LHS, please see our Fundraising page.

The “LHS Community Support Fund” donations are used to purchase grocery gift cards to give to families in need . PTO works with Liz Lindly, LHS Social Worker, to identify families that need assistance. If you need assistance and/or you know of a family in need, please contact Liz at

Our Gaga Ball Pit in action...THANKS for your generous support of LHS' desire to provide this fun activity for our students!

(Article from LPS Foundation May Newsletter)

Littleton High School's 8th grade Early High School program includes students who have exceptional academic, arts, performance and STEM portfolios…but are still only 12 or 13 years old!

In an effort to give her students a chance to "play" and create a strong community, program director, Sam Adams-Berger, applied for a teacher grant to get a Gaga Ball Pit and we delivered!

Gaga Ball provides a fun, fast-paced, silly way to blow off steam, feel connected and remember the importance of laughter and play. The physical education teachers have started using the pit as well and Ms. Adams-Berger says it will be a great addition to dances and celebrations in the future.

Her students agree by saying:

"I love playing Gaga ball for even a few minutes because it pulls the stress right out of me so I can focus".

"Thanks for just letting us be kids, Ms. A-B. I love being in high school but I miss lunch recess!"

Welcome to PTO

All parents/guardians with enrolled children at LHS are automatically members of this very active organization.

The PTO is an engaged group of volunteers that works alongside other parent/guardian groups within the school (ENCORE (Performing Arts) and Sports Booster Club) to create a strong community among the faculty and families.

The fundraising events held throughout the school year aim to enhance the LHS experience for every student. Fundraisers held by the PTO have raised money for technology throughout the school (fulfilling teacher wish lists), furniture for the courtyard and theater entrance, and help to support the LHS social worker with the various needs of our school’s population. Money raised by the PTO also supports AfterProm, a fun event open to all junior and senior students. All parents/guardians are encouraged to volunteer in whatever way works best. Please check out our Calendar of Events and see what interests you.

Our monthly meetings are attended by Principal Amy Oaks and other LHS administrators in order to increase communication between faculty and families. The meeting schedule for the 2020-2021 school year is being discussed. The meeting schedule will be published HERE when available. We encourage all parents/guardians to attend PTO meetings. Please feel free to contact any parent volunteer for any additional information. We hope to see you soon!
