LHS Community Support Fund continues thru summer

We will continue to monitor the “LHS Community Support Fund” over the summer and purchase grocery gift cards to give to families in need . PTO will work with Liz Lindly, LHS Social Worker, to identify families that need assistance. If you need assistance and/or you know of a family in need, please contact Liz at

Welcome to PTO

All parents/guardians with enrolled children at LHS are automatically members of this very active organization.

The PTO is an engaged group of volunteers that works alongside other parent groups within the school (ENCORE (Performing Arts),and Booster Club (Sports),) to create a strong community among the faculty and parents.

The fundraising events held throughout the school year aim to enhance the LHS experience for every child. Fundraisers held by the PTO have raised money for technology throughout the school (fulfilling teacher wish lists), furniture for the courtyard and theater entrance, and help to support the LHS social worker with the various needs of our school’s population. Money raised by the PTO also supports AfterProm, a fun event open to all junior and senior students. All parents are encouraged to volunteer in whatever way works best. Please check out our Calendar of Events and see what interests you.

Our monthly meetings are attended by Principal Amy Oaks in order to increase communication between faculty and parents. These meetings are held monthly (usually every 3rd Tuesday of the month at 9 a.m.) in the administrative conference room. We encourage all parents to attend. Please feel free to contact any parent volunteer for any additional information. We hope to see you soon!
