The Littleton Public Schools Fine Woodworking & Engineering curriculum offers hands-on learning in a lab setting where students will think critically and creatively to plan, design, build, and test projects. We use STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) to solve real-world problems.
This curriculum helps students become independent, lifelong learners who:
Use tools, machines, materials, and processes safely and effectively
Develop skills in various technological systems and understand their functions
Recognize the impact of technology on society
Solve problems through systems thinking, teamwork, and resourcefulness
Apply concepts from other subjects
Discover and build on personal strengths and interests in technology
Explore careers and further education in STEM fields
