School Year

General Information:

The Super Stars Program provides supervised care before and after school for students enrolled at Lois Lenski Elementary School.   This program provides an easy transition to and from the students’ school day to a partially structured environment that is familiar, comfortable, and allows the students to participate in activities with their school friends.  In addition, this program offers full-day care throughout the summer.

Hours:

AM Monday Tuesday Thursday Friday 6:30 am - 7:35 am

AM Wednesday (PLC)                    6:30 am - 8:35 am

PM Every School Day (After School)       2:45 pm - 6:00 pm

The program is offered on regularly scheduled school days, PLC (Delayed Start) Days, Parent/Teacher Conference Days, and during Summer Vacation.

The program is not available during holidays or days when school is closed during the regular school year.  This includes legal holidays, school breaks, or other closures such as snow days.

No refunds are given for missed days.

A late fee is applied for the care of children not picked up by 6:00 pm.

Activities:

The following is an example of what the after school program schedule generally looks like.  Changes will be made due to weather, and to remain in compliance with county and district guidelines.

An afternoon snack is provided for SACC attendees.

Notes:

Additionally, for your convenience, we work hand-in-hand with all before and after school enrichment activities (Band, Chess, Drama, Art, Mad Science, etc.) so that children have an opportunity to be a part of other school activities.  Children are sent to their enrichment class by their classroom teacher and they are dropped off to SACC by their enrichment instructor.  A SACC staff member will make sure all SACC students who attend an enrichment class are accounted for in said class.

On full day programs when school is not in session, field trips may be taken.
