About Me:

This is my 12th year at Arapahoe High School, and I am proud to be a part of such a great institution. I teach both American History as well as Psychology. I graduated from Lehigh University (PA) and then earned a teacher license from the University of Denver. I now live in Denver with my wife and our young daughter, who is two and a half years old.

Why I Teach:

...To help instill a passion for learning and self-growth. 

My goal is  to help kids expand their thinking about the world. In any social science, things are complicated by the human element.  It is important not just to learn about issues, but learn how to think about and analyze problems. I truly enjoy helping young people understand the complexities of the issues and the fact that many of the most important questions do not have simple answers.
