My name is Jill France and I teach Business.  This is my second year as a teacher and I started at LHS in January 2022.  I was inspired to become an educator because I watched people close to me struggle to learn in the traditional classroom.  I am commited to teaching to all different types of learning styles and meeting the uniqiue needs of every student.  My goal is to build strong relationships with each of you so you feel valued by me and the other students in my classroom.  I also want to make sure we have fun while learning all about business.   

I was born and raised in the Denver area. I received my undergraduate degree from University of Colorado and went on to start graduate school in Boston, MA at Emerson College in Marketing Communication with an emphasis in Diffusion of Innovation Theory.  After returning to Denver,  I enrolled in Regis University to earn my MBA with multiple emphases in Marketing, Accounting and Finance.  I also earned my Masters in Education from the University of Phoenix.   

I have a broad business background.   My first job out of college was with Enterprise Rent-A-Car (the number one recruiter of college grads).  From there, I went on to work in resort development, cost accounting, marketing and branding and sales.  I  was an executive for a tech incubator and owner of several small companies in Colorado.   

I am the mother of two teenaged girls who also attend LHS and I enjoy travelling, spending time in the mountains, great conversation and celebrating people.
