GMS Student Council

It's so awesome that you are interested in being a leader at Goddard Middle School. Before you apply, there are a few things you should consider:

1. Attendance at meetings is very important. We will meet after school at 4pm in Ms. Hanschen's room (1114) on the following Wednesdays (unless otherwise noted): 9/19, 9/26, 10/10, 11/14, 12/12, 1/16, 1/30, 2/13, 3/13, 4/17, 5/1, Fri. 5/10, 5/15

2. There is a $20 fee to be a part of every club at GMS, including Student Council. Contact Ms. Hanschen if you are unable to pay this fee.

3. Be clear and complete in your responses. Only 10 students from each grade will be accepted into Student Council this year.

4. 8th graders only: We will vote on officers during our second student council meeting. If you are interested in the position of President, Vice President, Treasurer, or Secretary, begin to consider a 2 minute speech to present to the group about why you would be ideal in an officer role.

Application due by Wednesday, September 11th.
