Welcome! I'm Ms. Shannon Hanschen (she/her) and I am elated to serve as Goddard's Art teacher. 

I love to learn, laugh, design, create, and reflect alongside young artists. In my spare time I enjoy parenting my two wild, hilarious sons with my spouse, making ceramics, reading, writing, walking my perfect pooch Margie, and camping. 

I achieved a degree in English, Spanish, and Secondary Education and I also hold endorsements in Visual Arts and English Language Development. I have a masters degree in Education Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Denver.
