Mr. Skiles

I’m excited to serve our students this year as both the Gifted & Talented teacher and the SmartLab teacher. I’ve taught upper elementary grades for the past several years, and I love creating learning experiences that challenge students to think critically, collaborate, and explore their creativity.

In the SmartLab, students get to dive into hands-on projects in STEM, problem-solving, and design. In Gifted & Talented, I’ll be working alongside classroom teachers to support students as they stretch their thinking and grow in new ways.

Outside of school, my wife and I recently moved to Colorado and are loving exploring the outdoors and getting to know the community. In my free time, I enjoy reading, playing board games, and spending time with my Australian Shepherd mix, Echo. I’m looking forward to a great year of learning and discovery together!
