Hello amazing students, parents, and families,

My name is Alison Law and I am so excited to be returning to Gudy Gaskill as a First Grade Teacher!

This is my 14th year teaching. I taught 5 years in Phoenix, all in the 2nd grade. I missed home, so I decided it was time to return to Colorado. I taught in Douglas County for 4 years, 4 years were in LPS at Field Elementary and Gaskill Elementary. The 8 years in Colorado I have been teaching 1st grade, and I've loved every minute! 

Here is a little more about me. I have a wonderful husband (Eric) and two kids (Juliet-4 and Teddy-2). We also have a cat, named Thomas O'Malley. One of my favorite things is seeing our children make memories and try things for the first time. We love reading books, going to the park, and learning to swim. I also love baking, playing board games, listening to music, and everything Disney!

As a teacher on the Gaskill team, I have the privilege of supporting your learners for a whole year with academics and social emotional growth. We will work together a lot on the journey this year in 1st grade. On Friday, please send back the Fluency Binders and the Friday Folders. We will fill and send home Friday folders after school on Fridays, and return the fluency binders Monday with a new story.
