Hello Gaskill Community! My name is Sara MacDonald and I am thrilled to be part of the Gudy Gaskill Elementary School team as the instructional coach. I have worked as an educator for 20 years, both as a classroom teacher and in teacher support roles as an instructional coach, a mathematics coach and professional development facilitator at the district level. I earned my Master’s Degree from the University of Colorado Denver in Curriculum and Instruction and I strive to continuously engage in deeper learning and reflection. I love working with learners of all ages and assisting them in reaching their highest potential!

I live in Golden with my husband and two sons, both in elementary school. I enjoy traveling, cooking, skiing, yoga, art and music. My family is very important to me and we enjoy spending time together in the great outdoors -- skiing, hiking, camping -- taking advantage of all that Colorado has to offer! I am grateful for the opportunity to learn, laugh and grow with the Gaskill students, staff and families this year.
