The Ford PTO needs you!!
It's that time of year again! We are sad to say goodbye to some of our awesome PTO team members as their students move on to middle school. That said, we are in need of a few new Ford parents to join us. We have a FUN team of kind, smart, reasonable humans and we encourage you to join us!

Help us out on the playground! You'll stop in the office to check in, receive a badge and stylish blue vest, and head over to the appropriate playground (K-2 or 3-5!) Parents must have a background check for this volunteer position. Sign up here.

Background checks are required ONLY for Volunteer Plus volunteers, which include:
Room Parents
Field Trip chaperones
Parents at Recess participants
Regular or Reoccuring classroom volunteers
You do NOT need submit a background check for occasional Volunteer status (irregular or one-time volunteer shifts).
If you are coming into Ford as an occasional Volunteer and do not have a background check, you simply need to scan your drivers license upon entering the office to be given a temporary badge for the day.
Background screens are good for two years. Notifications via email go out two weeks PRIOR to expiration, as they are expiring. You will also get an email AFTER it expires to let you know your volunteer account will be deleted. You have to take an action (Opt-in) in order to stay active.

*Please NOTE: If you previously went through a background check at another LPS school prior to attending Ford, you do not need to resubmit for another background check. That information will be transferred to us.
