Our Media Center Coordinators are looking for volunteers to help with checking out books to students and putting books back on the shelves. If you would like to help out,
volunteer background checks
Background checks are required ONLY for Volunteer Plus volunteers, which include Room Parents, Field Trip chaperones, Parents at Recess participants, and regular classroom volunteers. You do NOT need submit a background check for Regular Volunteer status (irregular or one-time volunteer shifts). The PTO is charged a fee for each background check processed, so please do not submit a background check if you do not fall under one of the Volunteer Plus categories. If you are coming into Ford as a Regular Volunteer and do not have a background check, you simply need to scan your drivers license upon entering the office to be given a temporary badge for the day.

*Please NOTE: If you previously went through a background check at another LPS school prior to attending Ford, you do not need to resubmit for another background check. That information will be transferred to us.
