About Me

About Me:

I am a Colorado native, born and raised in the Littleton area. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Colorado State University (Go Rams!) and my Master's Degree in Special Education from Western State University.

I always knew I would be a teacher.  Throughout my schooling, I saw firsthand the difference a teacher can have in a student's life, and I want to inspire students like I was inspired.   My passion is helping students achieve success in all aspects of their life.  With the help of parents and the rest of the Arapahoe staff, I believe that ALL students can be successful in their post-secondary aspirations.

Arapahoe holds a special place in my heart because my parents meet here as students.  This school is a part of my past, present, and future, and I am so proud to be a Warrior!

Why I Teach:

I teach because I am passionate about teaching students how to learn their own way.  I strive to make Arapahoe a more inclusive environment where differences are valued and respected, and students are given the tools to achieve their greatest potential.
