About Me

About Mrs. Dondelinger (AKA Mrs. Donda)

After growing up in the same town house in Northern California for 18 years, I was ready to travel somewhere new for my college education.  As a competitive gymnast, I went through the tireless recruiting and application processes of D1 universities from Alaska to Connecticut and everywhere in between.   An untimely foot surgery steered my course to the University of Denver where I helped launch the Club Gymnastics program and continued to compete nationally.  Though not my original plan to compete at the club level, I found that the jobs and internships I had the time to get involved in as well as my study abroad experiences to Granada and Santander, Spain led me on an equally as exciting pathway.  While involved athletically, I simultaneously discovered my passion for education and completed Bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics and Spanish as well as a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction throughout my 4.5 years.

After graduating, I easily decided to stay in Colorado to start my teaching career.  Before joining Littleton Public Schools as a teacher at Powell back in 2015, I taught at the Ricks Center for Gifted Children as well as the Denver School for Science and Technology.  I am happily married and we enjoy spending time with our two sons Daniel (4.5) and Winston (2).

Though I will do my best to communicate throughout the year, please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns or just to check in!  I am dedicated to continuously supporting each student to succeed this year and to grow as people and I look forward to the journey ahead.
