After spending the first half of my life on the east side of the country, my family moved to Colorado in 1998. Our first observation was that we could enjoy the outdoors ANY time of year so we spent a lot more time hiking, biking, and visiting "real" mountains. One of my favorite rides is Waterton Canyon where I can see a variety of wildlife without having to spend a lot of time in the car getting there. My children attended schools in LPS and graduated from Arapahoe so I have been a part of the AHS community even before I started teaching here. This is my 14th year teaching at Arapahoe.
The picture above on the left is my daughter and me touring around Tokyo with a Mario Cart Tour (although we were actually on a 3 wheel motorcycle). I am a minion in case you weren't sure! The picture on the very right is from Universal Studios in Osaka and the picture in the middle is a picture from a hike which is what you will find me doing every chance I get!
I am excited about the new year and look forward to getting to know you!
