MEET THE TEACHERS

Dedicated, experienced teachers set our preschool apart.

Rachel Wilson, Director 

Rachel Wilson was born in Colorado. She went to college at Colorado Mesa University where she received a BFA and later Rachel earned her Director License of Early Childhood Education. Rachel enjoys teaching and learning from young children. When she is not at school she spends time gardening, reading, and being with her husband and children. Rachel also likes to watching movies and travel.

Betsy Henry, Lead Teacher

Betsy Henry grew up in the northwest Chicago area and is a graduate of Indiana University where she received a BA in Elementary Education. She taught third grade for five years before staying home with her children for 10 years. Betsy started working for Littleton Public Schools in 2001. Betsy enjoys spending time with her three grown boys, Max, Charlie and Oliver and her husband, John. She also loves gardening, cooking, reading, writing, and traveling. 

Leslie Street, Lead Teacher

Leslie Street has her Bachelor of Science from Colorado State University, as well as completion of Early Childhood Education credentials from Arapahoe Community College. She began working for Littleton Public Schools in 2005 as an assistant teacher then moving on to a lead teacher position. A Colorado native, Leslie enjoys any activity that can get her outside in our beautiful state, especially hiking, tennis, and walking. She also loves yoga, traveling, reading, trying new activities and spending time with her husband, Tony, their children Rachel and Brian, and extended family and friends. 

Sarah Clements, Lead Teacher

Sarah Clements earned her Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in Special Education from Texas Woman’s University. She has a post-Bach in Visual Impairment from Stephen F. Austin. Sarah taught Special Education and Pre-K for 10 years before staying home with her daughter in 2017. She is very excited to be back in the classroom especially with our youngest learners. Outside of school she enjoys spending time with family, gardening, reading, and crafting. 



Kirsten Winters, Lead Teacher

Kirsten has a BA in Speech Language Pathology & Audiology and a MA in Special Education from the University of Northern Colorado. After teaching in Denver for several years, she decided to stay home after her first child was born. Kirsten and her husband, Fred, have three children, Zach, Emily, and Josh. Their younger two children attended Wilder Preschool where Kirsten enjoyed volunteering in the classroom and helping on committees - the start to many, many years as a volunteer parent in Littleton Public Schools. In 2019, Kirsten was excited to start teaching in Littleton Public Schools and be back in the classroom! Kirsten enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, watching movies, reading and traveling.
