The Colorado Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (CACEP) began in 2024 as a grass-roots cadre of concurrent enrollment practitioners and advocates from across Colorado meeting to discuss best practices, opportunities, and challenges. It is an official Affiliated Chapter of the National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP).
Mission:
To be a unified coalition of secondary, postsecondary, 2 and 4 year partners and CTE certification program stakeholders that serves as a collaborative resource and advocate for Colorado Concurrent Enrollment programs, and to facilitate equitable student access and success.
To share best practices, provide training and disseminate information regarding concurrent enrollment.
To improve and promote the quality, value and advocacy of concurrent enrollment programs throughout the state of Colorado.
To increase implementation across the state. (rural, western slope)
Promote NACEP standards of quality concurrent enrollment programs
Facilitate the interchange of ideas and issues,
Provide opportunities for professional development
Such as a CE state conference, regional convenings, (etc.)
Foster strong partnerships between secondary and postsecondary institutions
Serve as an advocate and educator for concurrent enrollment with stakeholders and legislators.
