Shannon is Senior Vice President of Impact at Colorado Succeeds, where she leads the organization’s policy, advocacy, and talent strategy teams to strengthen Colorado’s education-to-workforce systems. She works closely with the President and Board to advance policies that expand equity, ensure credit counts, and create high-quality pathways for learners statewide. Previously, Shannon held roles at the U.S. Department of Education, in the private sector in public affairs, and began her career as a high school English teacher. She lives in Denver with her husband, Jamie, a sixth-grade teacher and their sons, Harry and Max.
