Coach Taylor attended Chaparral High School where she was a member of the Varsity Poms team for three years. During her time on varsity, the team won the state championship in 5A Jazz Division in 2014, placed 5th at NDA Nationals that same season, and was runner up at State the following year again in Jazz. In addition to being a member of varsity Poms, Coach Taylor also competed several self-choreographed contemporary solos, where she won 1st place overall at Revolution Dance Competition. Taylor continued to dance at the collegiate level her freshmen year at Fort Hays State University, where she received her BA in Psychology. Following her move back to Colorado, Coach Taylor took time away from dance to obtain her Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis. Coach Taylor is thrilled to enter her 3rd season with the Toms.
My name is Zoe Child, and I am so excited to go into my second year of being the JV head coach! I started dancing at the age of three and continued all the way through high school. I was on Chaparral’s varsity poms team all four years, where we earned two state runner up titles and various nationals placements! I currently teach second grade in DCSD. Go Toms!
