Welcome to the AHS Speech and Debate team!

The speech and debate team is a vibrant, collaborative community that combines critical thinking, performance, and fun! We uphold the Arapahoe mission statement "to provide: a community of collaborative learning, rich culture, and meaningful relationships that prepares each student for the future," and also take the adopted motto of Arapahoe: "Warriors take care of one another" to heart.

The Majors:

The speech and debate team, or "forensics," is divided into three main categories: speech, debate, and extemporaneous speaking. Click on "events" to find information that may help you decide which event is right for you, and keep in mind you don't have to choose just one!
