Sydney Roper 

Hello Ford Families! I am so excited to be a part of the first grade team! I was born and raised in Minnesota and love everything Midwest. I earned my Elementary Education degree at the University of Iowa and taught 2nd grade in Iowa City for two years post graduation. I have taught 1st grade for the last four years. 

When I am not at school, I love doing just about anything active outside. The mountains are my playground! I spend my free time trail running, backpacking, camping, and when the snow comes; snowboarding and skinning! I love to travel during the summer and spend time with my family at our cabin in Canada. 

I am looking forward to meeting all of you and working together with you to help your child succeed this year. Please don’t ever hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns about anything.
