Westside Elementary MEdia Center
Welcome All!
The Westside media center is a space for ALL! Students are able to checkout books throughout the day, independently or with their classroom teacher. We have created an environment that students enjoy reading in and receiving instruction.Instruction focuses on research and reference skills and topics regarding technology. Our goal is for students to gain the necessary skills to be efficient, lifelong users of information.
Destiny
Destiny is our online card catalog. You use it to locate books we have in our physical library. You access Destiny Discover through Clever or by clicking the image above. Your login is your lunch number (username) and your last name (password).
Sora
Sora is our eBook and audiobook platform. You use it to borrow and read eBooks and audiobooks from Lowndes County Schools AND our local public library. You use Clever to get to Sora and log in with your school Google account.
Book Taco
Book Taco is an interactive tool for students to track, interact, and boost their love for reading! Jump in and find an activity for your book!
