I am proud to be entering my 16th year at CES and my third year serving as the school’s STEM teacher and STEM Club Advisor. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Education from Shippensburg University and have since earned my STEM endorsement while working toward helping our school achieve STEM certification.
In STEM class, I work with students in kindergarten through fifth grade to provide hands-on learning experiences that promote creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving. Students learn to care for and protect the environment through projects such as maintaining our outdoor turtle habitat and enhancing outdoor learning spaces designed for exploration and discovery.
As STEM Club Advisor, I lead students in collaborative challenges through our house system — TerraNova, Aetheris, and Ignus — where teams compete in engineering and design challenges that build teamwork and innovation.
I am passionate about creating engaging learning experiences that inspire curiosity and equip students with the skills to become innovative thinkers and future leaders.
