I have been a part of CES for over 14 years and am excited to be in my second year as a STEM teacher. My journey began at Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Education. Having recently earned my STEM endorsement, I am now actively working towards getting our school STEM certified.
Throughout my career, I’ve enjoyed working with fifth graders, exploring topics like math, science, and social studies. I’ve loved helping them understand concepts such as fractions and the natural world. Now, I’m thrilled to be teaching students from kindergarten through fifth grade. My goal is to inspire a love for learning and make their classroom experience enjoyable and engaging.
As I enter my second year in this role, I am eager to introduce a variety of new and exciting STEM challenges. I aim to integrate science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in ways that inspire creativity, foster critical thinking, and enhance problem-solving skills. Through inventive projects and real-world applications, I hope to equip students with the skills and mindset needed to become effective problem solvers, critical thinkers, and future leaders in STEM fields.
