Hello! My name is Mrs. Tammi Dawson! Welcome to 2nd grade! I hope to get to know each and every student and family as we start the new school year! In the meantime, here is a little about me. I have two sons. My oldest is currently in college at Kennesaw State University, and my youngest is a senior at LHS. I enjoy relaxing at the beach, spending time with friends & family, and shopping.

I have been an educator for 27 years. During this time I have taught in three states including Texas, Mississippi, and Georgia. I have earned my Master's Degree in Reading as well as my six-year Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership. For 11 years of my teaching career, I taught in Valdosta in the city schools. In 2017, I moved over to Lowndes County Schools. I feel very blessed to be part of a great family of people that truly care about kids!
