Meet the Teachers

Welcome to Kindergarten in Room 511 at Dewar Elementary School! I am so excited to meet you and your child. 

I am originally from the Eastern Shore in Maryland; however, I have been in Valdosta for over 20 years. I graduated with my Bachelor's in Early Childhood and Elementary Education and then pursued my Master's Degree in Special Education.  I have been teaching for 28 years and have taught pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, fifth-grade special education, and seventh-grade. I previously taught at Lake Park Elementary where I was awarded Teacher of the Year and have also been awarded Teacher of the Year here at Dewar!

I have a wonderful husband, Mac Allen, son, Bryan, and bonus daughter Journey. We love going to Disney, the beach, and watching wrestling events. I love teaching and want to instill the love of learning in my students. I feel that every student is capable of amazing things, they just have to know that you believe in them. I know we are going to have a great year and can't wait to embark on this wonderful journey with you and your family! 

My name is Lyndsey Eldridge. This will be my 2nd year in education! I previously had the pleasure of working with Pre-K Special Education last year! I live in Adel, Ga with my boyfriend and our 3 fur babies! I enjoy going to the beach and love all things football. I know this is going to be a fantastic year, and I'm looking forward to meeting all of you! 

My name is Celina Lucia Paiz-Lopez. I am currently a Senior at VSU! When I am not doing schoolwork, I love spending time my family. Alongside of being a student, I am a wife and mother to my 6-year-old son Jonas. I also like to learn, meet new people, and spend time shopping!
