About Me

Hello, my name is Palmer NeSmith!

I grew up in Thomas County, Georgia, and recently moved to Lowndes County to be a School Counselor at Hahira Middle School. I graduated from Georgia College and State University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Following graduation, I attended Valdosta State University to gain a Master of Education in Counselor Education, graduating in 2021. I chose a track in School Counseling with the goal to help students academically, social/emotionally, and with career/college exploration. I worked as a School Counselor in Camden County and have now transitioned to Lowndes County. I am eager to assist all students and am delighted to be a part of the Hahira Middle School family!
