Welcome to 6th grade social studies. A little about me.

Biography:

I served 20 years in the United States Air Force and retired in 1991. I worked in maintenance at the Presbyterian Home of Quitman, GA until 1996. Since then I have taught at Hahira Middle School. I have taught both 8th and 6th grade in all subjects except science. I have ten children and a twenty-five grandchildren.

My Classroom:

Our 6th grade Social Studies class is part of a two year program designed to introduce your child to all of the continents. This is a world studies course that focuses on geography, economics, history, and government. We will make real world connections to the past, present, and future. My theme has always been Mayberry USA. My google classrooms are named Gomer, Goober, Opie, and Barney.
