Lowndes High Georgia Bridgemen
The Georgia Bridgemen are the premier marching band for Lowndes High School. The Bridgemen have a rich history, including performances across the country! Known often as one of the largest, if not the largest, high school marching bands in the South, the Georgia Bridgemen have a membership that ranges from 400-450 students. Students can march the instrument that they played on in middle school or audition for the award-winning Auxiliaries. The Georgia Bridgemen perform at the highest level of musical achievement and strive for a tradition of excellence in both pageantry and show at football games as well as at marching band competitions throughout the Southeast.
8th Grade Band Night
During the fall, 8th grade students at Pine Grove Middle School, Hahira Middle School, and Lowndes Middle School that are involved in the band program have the opportunity to spend a night with the Lowndes High Georgia Bridgemen. The 8th grade students will have the opportunity to attend a game, stay in the stands with the band, and cheer on our mighty Viking football team. More info will be announced at a later date and sent home with students as well as a letter sent out to parents.
