I will be both teaching and developing a Connections program which will allow students to have consistent access to Music, Art, and PE.

Valdosta State University (2007), Bachelor of Music Education
University of Florida (2009), Master of Music in Trumpet Performance
Liberty University (2022), Doctor of Music Education, D.M.E.
Years in Education:
I have been in education for 12 years. I was an elementary general music teacher for 9 years, and an assistant principal for the previous 4 years.
My "Why":
My “why” is the students! I love providing a music education experience for all students to spark their creativity, and provide opportunities for them to learn and grow.
Classroom Philosophy:
I want every student to experience success and feel supported in my classroom. All students are able to be successful and all students deserve a safe and supportive learning environment…ALL MEANS ALL!!
Favorite Subject/Topic:
Music education is my favorite subject. It is one of my life's great passions.
Hobbies:
I enjoy going to the movies, playing golf, anything to do with the Florida Gators, spending time with my wife and friends, and traveling.
Fun Fact:
Something surprising about myself would be that I hold a 3rd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do martial arts.
Favorites:
Coffee – any kind of coffee as long as I can have a lot of it!
Book – The Lord of The Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien
Sports Team – Florida Gators
