Meet Your Teacher

All my life I have been told, “Once a Viking, always a Viking!”  My years of education were in the Lowndes County School System. I am a Viking at heart, and I am so excited to be teaching your child at Pine Grove Elementary School. 

Besides teaching, I have a photography business that I started many years ago.  It grew faster than I expected it to, and became something I love to do on the weekends.  I have always enjoyed taking pictures, but never imagined having my own business. However, after taking pictures as a hobby, I began to do it as a profession.  

My Education

Upon graduating from Lowndes High School, I attended Valdosta State University.  This is where I received my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I also attended Walden University and I have received my Masters in Early Education Literacy and Reading.

Teaching Life

This is my fifth year teaching, and I am extremely excited to get to know each of the students in my class this year. I know each of them will bring so much knowledge and personality to the classroom.  I look forward to watching their learning blossom!
