All About Me

Welcome to Lake Park Elementary! My name is Shelly Singletary and I will be your child's teacher this year. I have been teaching for 23 years and love what I do. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education with a minor in Reading. I also have two Master's Degrees: one in Special Education and one in Cultural Diversity and Reading. I have a terrific son who is 19 and a wonderful husband. I enjoy traveling, going to the beach, and spending time with my family. This is my fourth year at Lake Park Elementary and I am so excited! I have also been recognized as the 2021-2022 Teacher of the Year for Lake Park Elementary! We are a team and a family here at LPE and only want the best for you and your child.
