Mrs. Heeter's 4th Grade
Welcome to 4th grade! I am so excited about the growth and learning we are about to embark on. It is going to be the #bestyearever. In the classroom:
I am entering my 16th year teaching! I have taught 4th grade for the last 13 years and I am truly passionate about my profession. I love incorporating a set of teaching strategies known as "Whole Brain Teaching" and my goal is to promote a positive, energetic, and engaging classroom. WBT encourages a multiple modalities approach to learning and I have found great success in these strategies.
About Me:
I am not a Valdosta native, but I am so happy to call it home. I grew up an Air Force brat and attended over 11 schools growing up. I settled in Valdosta when my dad retired and soon met my husband while attending Valdosta State University. My husband, David, is in the Air Force and we have two boys.
