HELLO!!! I would like to start out by saying how excited I am to be your teacher this year! Your are the reason that I LOVE my job! I cannot wait to meet each and everyone of you, and I know that we will have a great school year! I have been teaching for 31 years and have had the privilege to teach in a variety of school settings and assignments. I have taught pre-k, kindergarten, first grade, second grade, and fifth grade. I received a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and Master and Educational Specialist degrees in Curriculum Instruction Management & Administration from Valdosta State University.

My husband (Dwayne Hart) and I have been married for ~ DRUM ROLL PLEASE~ 30 YEARS (YIKES...he's getting old wise! We have two beautiful grown-up children (Kymbra and Dwayne).
I am ELATED to once again be teaching second grade this year!!! I have truly been happy while teaching in all previous grades, but there is just something special about SECOND GRADERS!!!

Together, you and I share a common goal - to help your child become a more confident and successful learner. As a parent, you know the most about your child's likes, dislikes, and unique personality. Your input will help me plan for the academic and emotional needs of your child, prepare activities that will be interesting and motivating, and better extend learning within the classroom and community.
