Hello Parents and Students

I graduated from VSU with my bachelor degree in Middle Grades Education in May 2009. In May 2017, I graded from Thomas University with a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction. In August 2019, I will begin my Specialist in Teacher Leadership. I have been teaching at Lowndes Middle School for the past 7 years. However, I have been teaching Science since 2009. I am also certified in Language Arts/Reading and Social Studies. Also, I am Gifted Endorsed. My greatest passion is Science, especially Life Science.

I am honored to have the opportunity to teach you child(ren) and look forward to a very fun, engaging, and successful year.

It is my goal to keep parents informed regarding the progress of my students and to encourage my students to do their very best. You should know in most cases, I try to update students' grades weekly and usually more often than weekly. At the beginning of each year, I will send home remind.com information for both Social Studies and Science. If you sign up for this program, you will receive sort messages on your cell phone to let you know when the students have quizzes, tests, projects, etc. are do.
