Students will always follow the PAWS expectations:
Practice Compassion
Act Responsibly
Work Hard
Show Respect
Homework
Homework is a vital part of fourth grade. However, it is my goal that these “young learners” not be overloaded with homework on a daily basis. The work they will be given will simply reinforce what was learned in class. Each student will have a Homework Folder that is used only for homework assignments. Please make sure to check this folder every night with your child. It's important that your child knows when assignments are due and stays on top of their responsibilities.
**It is crucial that parents stay connected to Rooms. Communication is an important asset to ensure your child’s success and for you to stay informed of upcoming tests/ quizzes/homework or special dates for field trips etc…
**Independent Reading: It is my goal to create independent readers and to aid your child in this process, students are encouraged to read each night; 20 minutes of reading is recommended.
