Third grade is a big transition (literally, here at Westside, where now students are upstairs), but please do not worry or stress! Your child is moving from "primary" school to "elementary" school,  where in previous years they were learning to read, now they will be learning from their reading. Another big change is that your child will receive number grades on report cards, but I promise to communicate and support you and your child in every way possible. These students are ready to succeed in third grade!
