I am so excited to be teaching your child this year! I truly love to teach and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children, and I am thrilled to share that this year brings an awesome new adventure: I am officially stepping into the role of your child's STEM teacher! This year, STEM will be part of the exploratory rotation, meaning I will get the pleasure of seeing your child once a week for a dedicated block of time.

What does hands-on STEM look like?  It looks like coding robots, engineering bridges out of everyday materials, exciting experiments, and learning that "failures" are just spectacular opportunities to redesign and try again!

This is my eighth year of teaching. I earned my bachelor's degree in elementary education at Valdosta State University and completed my master's degree in elementary education at Walden University. When I am not in the classroom, I love spending time with my family, traveling to the mountains, and exploring the great outdoors.
