Third Grade students receive services to enhance their gifted and talented abilities. This is a resource class providing a challenging environment with the purpose of meeting student needs as described in the Gifted and Talented Program by the Georgia Department of Education. The intent of this course is to encourage students to be be problem solvers and enhance their creative thinking.

Fourth Grade students receive instruction that supports the Georgia
Standards of Excellence for ELA. Because students in this class are advanced readers, instruction is challenging and rigorous. Students are encouraged to read novels that promote participation in the Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl.
