About Miss Ply

Hi there! My name is Madison Ply, and I’m so excited to be starting my third year as a third grade teacher. I graduated from Valdosta State University with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Elementary Education, and I am currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction in Accomplished Teaching. I’m passionate about creating a positive, engaging classroom environment where every student feels supported and inspired to grow.

Outside of school, I am engaged to my fiancé, Jared, and we’re planning our wedding for December 2026! I’m also a proud pet mom to my yellow lab, Bella, and my sweet cat, Sox (named after my favorite team, the Boston Red Sox)— they’re my babies! In my free time, I love to read, travel, and spend quality time with my friends and family. I’m looking forward to a fantastic year full of learning, laughter, and memorable moments!

Fun fact—I actually attended Dewar Elementary as a child, so it’s incredibly special to now be teaching here and giving back to the school that helped shape me!
