Hi! My name is Katie Flythe, and I’m from Valdosta. I’m a proud graduate of Valdosta State University, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and my master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction. Additionally, I have Reading and Gifted Endorsements.

This will be my third year teaching. I spent my first two years teaching 2nd grade, and I am excited to begin my first year in 3rd grade. I absolutely love teaching and am passionate about helping every student grow, learn, and succeed. Watching students build confidence, reach their goals, and discover a love for learning is one of the most rewarding parts of my job. I am looking forward to an amazing year of learning, growth, and new adventures together in third grade!

When I’m not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. I also love reading, listening to music, traveling, and shopping.
