Mrs. Brogdon's Class

Welcome world travelers! My name is Mary Ellen Brogdon, and I am thrilled to have you as a part of our Hahira Middle family. This year I will be teaching 6th grade social studies, and we will be exploring the continents of North and South America, Europe, and Australia. I am a Valdosta native and a graduate of Valdosta State University; I have a Master's in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment. This is my nineteenth year teaching middle school to students in grades 6-8. My husband, Steven, is also a teacher here at HMS, and we have two adult sons, Carter and Parker. In my free time, I enjoy all things Disney, spending time with my daughter-in-love, Candler, shopping, decorating, and wasting time watching YouTube. I am looking forward to a successful year together.

Steps for Success

1. Bring your binder, agenda, and interactive notebook to class everyday.

2. Always do your homework.

3. Complete all class assignments.

4. Use your time wisely in class.

5. Study for all tests.

6. Read daily.
