Welcome to LHS ESports!
We are a new sports program to Lowndes High School and we are excited to be offering this opportunity to students. ESports is a GHSA sanctioned sport. Through ESports there are opportunities for college scholarships and professional gaming positions. If you play more than one game, you can NOT play more than one competitively. When signing up through PlayVS please use Firefox or do not full-screen your Chrome window. We use Steam on PC as our client for all of our games. You WILL need a Steam account to play. Please have this ready before you come to practice. Students cannot play more than one game at a time.

Splatoon 3 is a third-person paint shooter video game developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch. It is the third game in the Splatoon series following Splatoon 2. Like its predecessors in the Splatoon series, the game consists of online multiplayer (player versus player and player versus environment) alongside a single-player campaign, all featuring combat based around ink.
League of Legends is a multiplayer online battle arena video game developed and published by Riot Games for Microsoft Windows and macOS. The game follows a freemium model. There is no purchase necessary. Once the season is paid for and starts players will have access to ALL champions for the season ONLY.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate[a] is a 2018 crossover fighting game developed by Bandai Namco Studios and Sora Ltd. and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch. It is the fifth[b] installment in the Super Smash Bros. series, succeeding Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U (2014). The game follows the series' traditional style of gameplay: controlling one of the various characters, players must use differing attacks to weaken their opponents and knock them out of an arena. It features a wide variety of game modes, including a campaign for single-player and multiplayer versus modes. Ultimate features 89 playable fighters, including all characters from previous Super Smash Bros. games alongside newcomers. The roster ranges from Nintendo mascots to characters from third-party franchises.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
Mario Kart 8 is a kart racing game developed and published by Nintendo where players control Mario franchise characters in kart racing, collecting a variety of items to hinder opponents or gain advantages in the race. Mario Kart 8 introduces anti-gravity driving on walls or ceilings, and allows players to bump into each other for a short boost.
Rocket League
Rocket League is a vehicular soccer video game developed and published by Psyonix. The game was first released for Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 4 in July 2015, with ports for Xbox One, macOS, Linux, and Nintendo Switch. It is now free-to-play through Epic Games.
