I was born and raised in Valdosta, Georgia. I graduated from Valdosta State University and began working at Lowndes Middle School in 2011, teaching Science and Math. I have am married to my loving husband Johnathon. We have two AMAZING sons, Sawyer and Keaton. My husband and I are first generation cattle farmers. On the weekends you will find me on the farm!
The Seventh Grade Georgia Standards of Excellence for science are designed to give all students an overview of common strands in life science including, but not limited to, diversity of living organisms, structure and function of cells, heredity, ecosystems, and biological evolution

- Interdependence of life
Through these units of in-depth study, students will begin to master science inquiry. Learners will approach science as hands-on learning by planning and conducting investigations, utilizing technologies and information systems, and developing models to demonstrate an understanding of knowledge. The goal is to provide a rigorous science background to all learners.
