About Me:

Hello there! My name is Kayla Chadwick, and I teach 6th grade Social Studies on Team 62. I graduated from Valdosta State University with a degree to teach Middle Grades Education in Social Studies and ELA. I have lived in Valdosta for most of my life, and most of my family lives here as well. I have wanted to be a teacher since I was in the 7th grade, so I am living the dream. I am a proud nerd, so I love all things Marvel, Star Wars, Disney, history, and so many other fandoms! I am also a massive fan of cats and Christmas:) Outside of school, I enjoy reading, spending time with family and friends, listening to music, going to church, and binge-watching practically any baking show. I am so excited to get to learn and grow with all of my students! It is going to be a marvelous year!
