Mrs. Katie Smith

Welcome to Westside Elementary School!  My name is Katie Smith, and it is an honor to introduce myself as the Instructional Coach of WES.   

I have been a part of the Lowndes County School's family for over 18 years with 9 years experience in 3rd grade and 6 in 1st grade. 

My husband, Scott, and I have 2 beautiful children who are in middle school and high school.   We are proud to be a part of the Viking family and to have called Valdosta our home for over 20+ years. 

I look forward to a wonderful year working with you, growing and learning together at WES!  It is going to be an aWESome year!
